Measurement Guide

Use this guide to ensure your RUBIK III modular sofa fits perfectly in your space—measure carefully before ordering to avoid sizing issues.

1. Individual Module Dimensions

All dimensions are in inches (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Measurements are approximate (±0.5”).

2. Space Requirements

  • Clearance for Reconfiguration: Leave at least 18” of space around the sofa if you plan to rearrange modules later.
  • Wall Placement: For corner sets, allow 2-3” of space between the sofa and wall to prevent fabric damage and ensure easy module connection.
  • Doorway & Hallway Check: Measure your entryway, hallways, and stairwells to ensure modules can be moved to your desired room. Most modules fit through standard 32” wide doorways.

3. How to Measure Your Space

  1. Room Dimensions: Measure the length and width of your room (in inches) where the sofa will be placed.
  2. Furniture Placement: Mark the area you want the sofa to occupy (use painter’s tape for accuracy).
  3. Check Clearances: Ensure there’s enough space to walk around the sofa (minimum 30” for main pathways).
  4. Match to Modules: Use the table above to calculate the total width/depth of your desired module combination and confirm it fits your marked area.

4. Example Configurations & Sizes

  • 3-Seat Straight Sofa: Single Seat + Double Seat = 96” (width) x 34” (depth)
  • 4-Seat Corner Set: Double Seat + Corner Module + Single Seat = 64” (width) x 68” (depth)
  • Small Apartment Set: Single Seat + Ottoman = 32” (width) x 34” (depth) + 24” (ottoman width)

5. Tips for Accurate Measuring

  • Use a metal tape measure (more precise than fabric tapes).
  • Measure twice to confirm dimensions.
